Well, if you’re going to be the MC at the microphone for an event in this organization, you might as well start right at the top. It was a great event this afternoon here at Kettler as Alex Ovechkin announced his new equipment agreement with Bauer in front of a rather large media contingent. I really enjoyed seeing old friends in the media circles here and meeting some new ones. But mostly it was an honor to share the stage with the greatest player in the world. May his new Bauer sticks score goals by the bushel basket starting October 8. Kudos to Sergey Kocharov and Ben Guerrero for putting on a great show, and to Spike Parker and James Heuser for all the audio and video work.
